October Currently is Boo-tiful

It's that time again....the first of the month! I'm linking up with Farley over at Oh' Boy 4th Grade.  After this lonnnnggg, hottt, drrryyy summer, I'm welcoming Fall with wide open arms! Bring on the rain and cooler weather!

Meet the Fockers is seriously hilarious.  Being in the engagement stage of my life makes it even more hilarious! The boy is working so hard to bond with my Dad! Love him for that :)

There was a teensy weensy tiny breeze in the air today.  It was AH-MAZING.  80-90 degree days since the start of school = torture.  We literally have "sunny day" recess because it's too hot to be outside. I'm so thankful that our principal supports the sandal, summer dress look!

The start of the school year has hit me across the face and sucked out every ounce of energy I gained over the summer.  Just one extra weekend day would make me so happy! Thanksgiving break come sooner, please.

6 months....6 months! I can't even believe I'm getting married in 6 months! We just booked our tastings and I can't wait to pick out a cake. How amazing is this cake?? Maybe for the shower?

It's basically been revealed that our condo complex is swarming with termites, causing ANOTHER special assessment and making it even hard to sell.  I'm between a rock and hard place with my house and it's NOT fun. BOOOO

My bestie friend in the whole world had a baby! I'm Auntie Katie and I can't even believe it.  Shout out to my amazing Momma friend and her sweet sweet baby boy :) He's boo-tiful and so is she!

Just finished making a fresh batch of pumpkin snickerdoodles to ring in October.
Happy Almost Friday :)

  2. It's been unseasonably warm here in NorCal, too! I would definitely welcome some rain (we need it so badly!). You must be having so much fun planning your wedding! I've been married 10 years and remember how exciting the planning stages were. Good luck with your house. I hope you find a solution soon!

  3. Oh my, that cake!! I love that movie, too :) I'm addicted to listening to light-hearted movies (or any movies, in fact) while typing away. Good luck with all the plans! Jen

  4. I am so glad I found your blog today! It is so dang adorable! I'm your newest follower. We're having hotter than usual temps here in NM also, but I'm not complaining. I love it! We had a small termite issue in our old house that put a little speed bump in our sale but it got fixed fairly easily so I think we got lucky. Good luck with yours!
