Pick 3 Pinterest Linky Party!

I came across this cute Linky Party hosted by Pawsitively Teaching and Inspired Owl's Corner. You pick 3 Pinterest pins that you are going to use in January and share. I can't wait to try these pins that I've found! My kiddos are going to love it!

Here are the three pins that I plan to use in January! They might linger into February because we don't go back to school until next week.

I came across this on Pinterest and just melted over the cuteness! They are so adorable. I am going to find some good Nonfiction texts to go with the Penguin theme. Any suggestions? I can't wait to see how creative the kids get with the freedom of this art project.

Since we can't just do art all month (oh by why not?!?!?!), I found this math pin that I love. When we get back from break, we are starting fractions. I thought this interactive number line would be a great way to bring the numbers alive and give the kids a better understanding of the value of a fraction.

I recently bought Snow Globe Family and love it! It's such an adorable book and leads right into the "If I lived in a snow globe..." narrative writing prompt. I saw this on Pinterest and can't wait to try it! It sounds like you just modge podge the pictures onto the plate and dab it with white paint. I was going to bring some fun scrapbook paper in to do the stand.

What are your favorite Pinterest picks?!

Monday Made-it Bachelorette Party Style!

Glitter!!! Who doesn't love glitter?! My best friend is getting married in 2 weeks. EKK! I hosted her Bachelorette party a few weeks ago. We went wine tasting in Temecula and had a blast. Pinterest threw up all over my house in preparation for this fun weekend! You know you're a teacher when you are glittering wine bottles and all you can think of is..."Monday Made It!" #teacherproblems

I'm linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for her Monday Made-it party. I hope to be making more classroom goodies soon :)

Bachelorette Party Style!

I saw this idea on Pinteret and just melted! I was going to give it to my friend at her shower but just couldn't wait. I hope they hang this up in their house and remember the good times!
I bought the clear frame at Michaels and used my Cricuit to cut out the sticky letters and numbers.  It was hard to stick all the tiny letters but definitely paid off!

I went on a mad rampage to steal corks from everyone I knew! I even flew some over from D.C. (Thanks Lori!). I ended up boiling the corks (it helps make them soft to cut), cut them in half, and glue gunned them to letters from Michaels.

Do you see the green glitter wine glass on the side?! I modge podged the glasses and used Martha Stewart's fine glitter. I modge podged over the glitter to avoid the whole wine glitter drinking situation. They were so cute!!

I used a chalk pen and a mini chalkboard from Michaels to make this cute sign! I LOVE the new chalk fad going on!

Everyone got a cute little bag full of goodies!

Thank you Cricuit! It tested my patience but I finally got this all cut and done.

Everything was a great success!!! Can't wait for the wedding. Congrats Lindzy :)

Does this mean I need to start thinking about school things again!?

January Currently! Happy New Year!

Hello blogging world! It's been awhile :) I'm linking up with Farley over at Oh Boy Fourth Grade. Thank you Farley for getting me to blog at the beginning of the month!!!

Listening - When I watch TV (and with a boyfriend that's not very often), I LOVE to watch Gilmore Girls. Beside the whole 16 and pregnant thing, it reminds me of my family and gives me so many giggles!

Loving - Breaks from school never actually seem like a break. Between family and...family...time seems to slip away. My new school has 3...yes THREE...weeks off for winter break. I'm feeling so grateful for another week off.

Thinking - I have quite a lot of things I want to work on this year and they just keep running through my head.  Getting in shape, cleaner eating, better blogger, making more money....just SO many things to think about!

Wanting - This is my never ending life goal! I started this blog this past summer with such ambition and energy. Then life happened! Time to get back into the blogging groove.

Needing - The holiday season always takes a tole on my bank account. Plus, we've had a lot of extra unexpected costs this month. Maybe one day I won't feel like the starving college student!? Maybe? One day?

Yes - After my puppy got xylitol poisoning from gum, the same gum I put in my body, I've decided i need to eat cleaner. Organic...oh my!

Maybe - I LOVE making things! I have a giant Pinterest board full of DIY projects I dream of. Unfortunately, I don't know how to make many of the things and my 700 square feet of home isn't quite conducive to projects!

I wish - I am a homebody and love my house. I wish one day to have a bigger house!
